During our Summer Learning at CSPS in June, students experimented with putting Mentos and Diet Coke together to create a geyser. Then they used vinegar, Baking soda, and balloons to create carbon dioxide that filled up the balloon.

It's the first week of Summer. Do you know where your teacher is?
Several of the CSPS and AES teachers attended a HOUSE conference at Greenwood Elementary School yesterday. It was an exciting day of 90's throwback, HOUSE engagement, and fun! We can't wait to get started next year.
Thank you, teachers, for your hard work and dedication to bringing fun and engagement to our schools. Now, go and take some time to recharge. We'll see you soon.

National PE & Sport Week is an annual celebration of the importance of physical education and health education, in addition to kicking off National Physical Fitness and Sports Month! Engaging in physical education helps students develop essential motor skills, personal and social skills, and core character values such as resilience, fairness, and respect.

Behind every successful student is a healthy one! 🩺✨ Today, we’re celebrating National School Nurse Day and the incredible professionals who keep our halls safe and our students well.
From managing chronic conditions to offering a comforting word (and the occasional ice pack), our nurses are the heart of our schools. Thank you for your expertise, your compassion, and your unwavering dedication to KWCPS.

CSPS recently concluded its school-wide One Book, One School event, featuring A Kitten in Gooseberry Park by Cynthia Rylant. The celebration culminated in a wonderful Title I Family Night on Thursday, April 30th, where many students and their families took part in activities inspired by the story. A special highlight of the evening was a visit from K-9 Kip, a therapy dog from the King William County Sheriff's Office. We extend our sincere thanks to Wawa and Hong Kong for their generous support in making this event such a success.

Not all heroes wear capes—some carry dry-erase markers. 🍎

To our teachers: Thank you for the late nights, the endless patience, and the way you believe in our students even when they don’t believe in themselves. You are the heart of our community.
